The Challenge
Over the last 10 years, Central Kitsap Food Bank has experienced tremendous growth, expanding its programs, increasing the number of neighbors served, and deepening its impact throughout the community. However, much of that growth had never been captured in a cohesive, visual way that could be shared with donors, partners, grantors, and community members.
As a board member, I have seen firsthand the dedication, hard work, and heart that goes into the organization every day. The food bank needed marketing materials that reflected the scale of its impact and told its story in a way that was both compelling and professional.
The Solution
As part of an ongoing effort to elevate the organization's marketing, I designed Central Kitsap Food Bank's first Annual Report as a pro bono project. The report was created to serve as a powerful storytelling and development tool, combining organizational milestones, community impact, statistics, financial information, and future goals into one polished publication.
The design focused on making information accessible and engaging, balancing meaningful stories with data and visuals to demonstrate the organization's growth and mission. Created for both digital and print distribution, the report was designed to support fundraising, donor stewardship, grant opportunities, community outreach, and overall brand awareness.
The Results
Central Kitsap Food Bank now has a professional annual report that effectively communicates the impact of its work and the growth it has achieved over the last decade. The report provides a valuable resource for development and marketing efforts while helping donors, volunteers, and community members better understand the organization's mission and reach.
Most importantly, it gives the food bank a meaningful way to celebrate its accomplishments, honor the people behind the work, and share the story of an organization that continues to make a lasting difference in Kitsap County.
